• Darren Capps (dogz dinner)

Old boy of the team, owner and upkeeper of this web site. Will be his first time up Ben Nevis and Carantouhill, a keen walker out most weekends in the Peak District with his two dogs, Wishbone & Fly.

Four Peaks first timer and also his first visit to Ireland, looking forward to a bevvy or two of the real black stuff.

By far the oldest of the three that are going up the mountains, question is 'will he make it?' you bet he will, someone has to show the young un's the way to the top!

• Mark Dobson (K9)

Driver and cook for the team, and also 3rd youngest of the team. He completed the 3 peaks in 2005 in aid of Cancer Research but decided his other talents were required for this event.

They don't call him 'The Stig' for nothing!  However, he is not known for his culinary skills, therefore he will do his best NOT to give the rest of the team food poisoning but can't promise.

• Andrew Huggins (crazi dog)

Andrew has been enjoying a break from the 4 peaks after completing his last event resulted in 12 months of medical treatment for torn ligaments in his ankle...any excuse for some nursing!

After committing not to repeat the experience again he has been convinced back into his trainers by the team...both to raise money for this very worthy charity but also to help a very needy Richard 'down-size' to fit his wedding suit!

Amongst two old timer's and a sixties throw back; Andrew brings some youthful spirit to the team! Andrew also knows for this comment he'll be made to suffer as he tries to keep up with the others...who'll be showing they are far from 'over the hill', more likely sitting on it waiting for him to catch up!

• Richard Buggins (shaggi dog)

Team Captain and Four Peaks first timer.  Richard is due to be married in September this year so an event like this is just the motivation for getting into that suit!  This will also be Richard's first visit to Ireland and that's the part he is looking forward to the most... so long as he is not made to sit in the back and certainly not next to Huggy! (crazi dog)

Richard has been an active member of Wooden Spoon for 6 years and can't wait to give a little bit more to such a worthwhile charity.
